Bio

Artist, Designer, illustrator, Graphics Specialist

Art has been my favorite hobby ever since I can remember. I always wanted to do something with my art, and with computers. I am always being creative.  I have been creating logos, painting murals and signs, designing business cards, fliers and such since I was 12. I would check out all of the Art books from the school library, and practice sketching animals, cars, nature and the beach.

I started off manual Drafting with pencils and triangles, which later turned into learning AutoCAD (Computer Aided Drafting). My supervisors realized that I was artistic and decided to utilize me for Marketing Graphics and Proposals, creating graphics, leave-behinds at meetings, and designing colorful site plans. I setup all powerpoint interview slideshows, created large aerial boards for CIM's.

I would create AutoCad art before I learned Graphic Design on my lunch breaks using Corel Draw and PhotoShop. In 1994, I won a $2,000 scholarship, 1st place cap design contest from Signature Hats, and Foot Locker. What's crazy is that I used that money to take the 2nd AutoCad class. I learned the CS Suite, Corel Suite and MS Office Suite, and Acrobat.

I also like Photography. I have taken field photos of construction sites for Marketing purposes. From my past photography lessons, I have a newfound respect for those that shoot photos professionally.
